If you have put your dreams away for some day or buried them so deep you are not really sure what they are any more, it is time to reconsider. Dreams often get set aside to make a living and save for retirement or for some day. It is hard to imagine feeling energized about anything when it is exhausting to get through another uninspired or overwhelming day of struggle.

I felt stuck in my job and career for many years, until I discovered the secret to success. 

I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and followed where the jobs led for about 12 years, enjoying my new career and becoming a registered professional engineer. I managed civil, environmental and water resources projects.

At some point, life lost its sparkle. I continued on with my career, but my job became just a paycheck. Even the lure of outdoor adventures in my personal time did not seem as interesting. I managed to create jobs in rural areas where I wanted to live, but that was not enough. I had a desire to do something different but I did not know what it was. Deep inside I had a feeling, but I could not seem to find an outward expression.

I read books on creating work you love (among many topics); studied spiritual materials; attended classes and workshops. I played with things I was interested in and created a few side ventures along the way. Throughout the years I have led youth outdoor adventures; taught yoga to kids; mentored people recovering from addictions and struggling with depression; provided pet behavior and adoption advice; supported local agriculture, small businesses, musicians and artisans; facilitated personal growth workshops, classes and group processes.

When I finally launched a full time business, I found myself drawn into engineering related work believing it was the best way for me to earn a good income. I tried to create a unique niche, but never quite got the clarity to market myself successfully. I went back to working for someone else.

When that job ended unexpectedly I decided it was time to create a business that I would enjoy and that would support me financially. I began providing meeting facilitation and coaching leaders of organizations, integrating my technical expertise with my facilitation and coaching experience. I started out with a traditional marketing approach talking with existing contacts; attending conferences and networking events; as well as creating a website.

As I embraced the idea of authentic marketing and recognized the potential of the internet to attract my ideal clients, I had new insights and put my ideas into action. Experiencing immediate results, I refined my focus.

Now I have solutions to help other solopreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs attract clients, launch their business and build a community of people interested in what they offer. Most importantly, it is something I am passionate about.

I want to inspire you to listen to your inner voice of wisdom, to let it guide you, and live joyfully. I encourage you to make a choice and take action now.

We live in a time of intense change on earth and incredible opportunity. Making a difference in the world starts with each of us individually. When we choose to live from our inner wisdom and express from this deeper place of inspiration; each of us helps shape a new world.
